Founded in 1988, Frontera Materials started with a simple idea: give South Texas contractors a reliable, local source for the materials they use every day. No middlemen, no long supply chains, no uncertainty about where your material is coming from.
Over three decades later, that idea hasn't changed. We own and operate our own quarries, caliche pits, and gravel pits across the Rio Grande Valley. This gives us direct control over quality, supply, and pricing — and it lets us deliver faster than anyone who has to source from somewhere else.
South Texas is one of the fastest-growing road-building markets in the United States. New highways, subdivisions, commercial developments, and infrastructure projects are going up across the Valley every month.
